Why Ugandan Vanilla?
Vanilla grown in Uganda and Madagascar primarily belongs to the same botanical species — Vanilla planifolia. However, the country of origin, climate and curing process influence the aroma and flavour profile of the finished product.
Ugandan vanilla is known for its rich and persistent aroma, with distinctive vanilla, chocolate and dried-fruit notes. Uganda also has two vanilla harvest seasons per year, helping us provide fresher products and maintain a more stable supply throughout the year.
