Cuts
Vanilla Cuts for Industrial Production
Vanilla cuts are beans cut into shorter, defined pieces. Cutting is done to the size a customer's process requires, which removes a preparation step before extraction, grinding or blending.
Because cuts are made from extraction-grade material, they combine an efficient raw material cost with a format that feeds dosing systems, mills and continuous extractors without further handling.

Frequently asked questions
Can I specify the cut length?
Yes. Cut size is agreed with you before the order is prepared, so the material arrives ready for your extractor, mill or dosing system.
Are cuts made from gourmet or extract grade beans?
Cuts are normally produced from extraction-grade material, since the format is intended for processing rather than presentation. If you need cuts from a different selection, tell us in the quote request.
Do cuts lose aroma faster than whole beans?
Cut surfaces increase exposure to air, so cuts are vacuum-packed and should be used within a planned production cycle rather than stored open for long periods.
Is there a minimum quantity for a custom cut?
Custom cutting is arranged per order. Send your required size and annual volume with your quote request and we will confirm what is workable for the current stock.
