Vanilla powder
Natural Vanilla Powder for Professional Use
Natural vanilla powder is produced by drying and grinding whole Ugandan vanilla beans. It contains no added sugar, carrier or synthetic vanillin — the powder is the bean itself, reduced to a dosable dry ingredient.
Powder is the practical format wherever liquid extract is unwanted: dry mixes, heat-treated bakery, chocolate work and applications where added water or alcohol would change the recipe.
Natural vanilla powder disperses easily into hot and cold preparations. As a natural ground product, it may leave visible vanilla particles in the finished recipe.

Frequently asked questions
Does the powder contain sugar or additives?
No. It is ground vanilla beans only. Vanilla sugar and blended preparations are different products and would be quoted separately.
How does powder compare with extract in a recipe?
Powder adds no liquid and withstands baking, so it suits dry mixes and heat-treated products. Extract disperses more easily in wet applications. Dosage differs, so trial batches are recommended.
Will the powder leave visible specks?
Yes, ground beans give the characteristic dark speckling. If you want pronounced seed specks with less body colour, vanilla caviar is the better choice.
How should vanilla powder be stored?
Keep it sealed, dry and away from light and strong odours. Reseal after each use, as ground material picks up moisture and ambient aromas more readily than whole pods.
